Born out of Melbourne, Australia, Men at Work became hitmakers of the '80s with unforgettable #1 singles like 'Who Can it Be Now?'
And 'Down Under.'
The group, fronted by Scottish-born Colin Hay, went on to win a Grammy award for Best New Artist and sell more than 30 million records worldwide.
Though Men at Work called it quits in 1985, Hay continued his music journey releasing his solo debut the following year.
Over the next three-and-a-half decades, he recorded twelve more critically acclaimed studio albums. And he's not done yet.
The rocker recently released a new solo album, Now and The Evermore , a collection of songs focusing on the joyful celebration of life and love, recorded in his adopted hometown of Los Angeles.
The record features a guest appearance from Ringo Starr, who Hay will tour with this September.
We chatted virtually with the talented singer-songwriter about his new album, working with and setting out on tour with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, and hitting the road with Men at Work, Rick Springfield, and John Waite later this summer.
This is a Lifeminute with Colin Hay.
