This show was performed nightly at the former Royal Plaza Hotel, at Walt Disney World.
An earlier production, under the name "Memory Lane" was first produced in that venue by two very talented former Disney Costumers.
The show featured lavish costumes and a very talented cast.
However, in 1993, an all-new and completely different show, under the same name, "Memory Lane", was produced by Benros International Productions, Inc.
With all new orchestrated music.
The original title was retained because of already-printed promotional materials that the hotel wished to further utilize.
A year or so later, the Royal Plaza hotel was sold, renamed and the theater space re-utilized.
At that time, Memory Lane was transformed into another of the many Benros Productions' convention shows, but with the new and more appropriate name, "America the Musical".
A different version of the show was later combined with a Benros Productions' wild west stunt show, together appearing as the featured entertainment at a Garland, Texas Independence Day Celebration.
