The UK faces an emerging crisis over the availability of C02 for industry as CF Fertilisers, the US-owned company which produces 40% of UK requirement, says it is closing one of its' two plants.
This company threatened to close last Autumn but was handed £30m directly from Government so it stayed open but it is now back for more.
This time, Government says it will not bail it out.
I don't believe them UNLESS they want to provoke a major crisis in food and drink industries ahead of Christmas.
