In 1977, Roberts for one year was a firefighter with the California Division of Forestry (presently now known as Cal-Fire).
Firefighting was not his cup of tea.
Roberts later in life worked at the Department of Fish and Wildlife as a Supervising Program Technician III and Custodian of Records.
As the Custodian of Records, my job was to provide critical data to agencies like the Alaskan State Troopers, FBI, Texas Rangers, US Marshalls, DEA and other law enforcement agencies.
Roberts is now retired from his State government service.
