Dr. Jill Biden is a teacher and the current First Lady of the United States.
Born in June 1951 in Hammonton, New Jersey, Jill Tracy Jacobs Biden is the oldest of her five siblings.
She grew up in Pennsylvania and then graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in English in 1975.
In 1976, Jill began teaching English at a school in Wilmington, before completing her first master’s degree in 1981.
It was in 1975 when she met her now husband, President Joe Biden, whilst on a blind date which was set-up by Joe’s brother.
They married at the United Nations Chapel in New York City in 1977.
The people of America first got to know Jill Biden as second lady during the Obama presidency.
Unlike previous second ladies, Jill did not leave her job and continued to teach English.
In fact, even after reaching the White House, she continued to teach.
In total, Jill Biden has a bachelor’s degree, two Masters and a PhD.
Outside of teaching and being First Lady, she is an athletic person and her friends say that she loves to tell a joke.
