Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commemorates the 81st anniversary of the Babyn Yar massacres.
He first lights a candle in front of the Menorah monument to the executed Jews, before laying a wreath at the Monument to Soviet citizens and POWs shot by the Nazi occupiers.
Babyn Yar is a ravine outside Kyiv, where Nazis executed more than 30,000 Jews in 1941.
Zelensky wrote on his telegram that "similar crimes against humanity still occur today.
In particular, on our Ukrainian land" in reference to the conflict with Russia.
