I do not post this as something negative or derogatory about China.
I lived their 9 years and all by itself those 9 years add up to a life well lived.
I loved China!!!!.
I post this because even though it is not for the squeamish it is a place very very few will ever pass through.
For good or for bad..your call!!!
We are in the city of San Jiang where we had spent the night because there was too much to see there we needed the dayi am guiding a professional photographer whose goal it was to create a photo essay on a journey through rural China...i turn the video camera away at first because i was scared that they would get mad but our local guide redirects me so i continue the video and im glad i did....this guy had the heart of a lion and just knew instinctively the importance of the moment and being in it and not letting it slip through your fingers....go get the shot...he did.......that skill set is more important than the damned camera!!!...i still find it hard to go and get THAT shot..
No matter how folks react to it.rned a lot from watching him ......we didnt expect to see what we did but i have eaten dog ..first unknowingly and then with full knowledge..
Fuck it!!
When in Rome.....this is in a city called San Jiang...about 90 minutes from a city called Longshen and 6 hours from Guilin about 2 hours left of driving before we get to Rong Shui da Nian..
The people in both China and Cambodia i loved them... and they treated me with great kindness tolerance and generosity but like i said this vid is not for the squeamish
