Suella Braverman says that she has not “blocked the procurement of hotels or alternative accommodation to ease the pressure on Manston”.
The home secretary was responding to a question from Conservative MP Roger Gale, who said that Ms Braverman “took the policy decision not to commission further accommodation and it is that, that has led to the crisis at Manston”.
