The Biden administration prisoner exchange was a bad deal, Mr. Bout was released from U.S. custody (sentenced to 25 years in federal prison) in exchange for Russia releasing WNBA player Ms. Brittney Griner.
Mr. Bout was convicted of trying to sell arms to kill Americans, Ms. Griner was convicted of possession of cannabis oil in Russia.
