Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand told a news conference on Saturday (February 11) that a U.S. F-22 fighter jet had shot down an unidentified aerial object over Canada earlier in the day, similar in appearance but smaller in comparison to the Chinese balloon downed off South Carolina's coast a week ago.
