Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday (February 17) said the use of the emergencies act in early 2022 to deal with the “Freedom Convoy” blockades and protests was the “necessary” thing to do, after an inquiry into their invocation found the government met the threshold for their use.
