Pence's attorneys previously argued that he was protected from having to testify due to the "speech and debate" clause in the Constitution.
They say that the clause identifies Pence as part of the legislative branch, shielding him from testimony.
The judge disagrees, but did reportedly grant Pence a partial victory in that respect.
Judge Boasberg acknowledged that Pence does have some protections, but the immunity isn't enough to prevent him from testifying.
