Resident Evil – Code: Veronica, known in Japan as Biohazard – Code: Veronica (バイオハザード コードベロニカ Baiohazādo Kōdo: Beronika?), is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom.
It is the fifth game in the Resident Evil franchise.
Originally released exclusively for Dreamcast in 2001, it had an improved version titled Resident Evil – Code: Veronica X for Dreamcast (Japan only) and PlayStation 2.
Two years later, the game was released for GameCube.[1] On September 27, 2011 a high resolution version of Resident Evil – Code: Veronica X was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
