The Last of Us (also known as TLoU)[1] is a PlayStation-exclusive action-adventure and survival horror video game franchise created by Neil Druckmann.
The franchise is set in a post-apocalyptic world, with hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutation of the cordyceps fungus.
Along with God of War, The Last of Us gained PlayStation flagship status, with its titles selling approximately 21 million copies worldwide.[note 1]
