According to officials, the attack on Moscow caused some damage to buildings and forced residents to evacuate their homes.
The Russian Defense Ministry released a statement claiming that eight unmanned aerial vehicles were used to strike at Moscow.

The ministry added that all eight of the drones were destroyed, with five shot down by Moscow's anti-aircraft systems and another three were jammed.
According to Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak, Kyiv "has nothing directly to do" with the drone attacks on Moscow.
