Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
Lavrov told Fidan that the course towards continuing weapons supplies to Kyiv is destructive, according to the Russian foreign ministry statement.
Both leaders also discussed the return of the commanders of Ukraine’s Azov nationalist battalion (outlawed in Russia as a terrorist organisation) to Ukraine.
Fidan dialled Lavrov days after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan extended support to Ukraine's NATO bid during President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Anakara just days ago.
