Bronny James the son of Lebron James suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday while at practice at USC where he is slated to attend in the fall to play basketball.
This news sent the sports world into shock and many wished Bronny and the James family a speedy recovery.
As of now the cause of Bronny's heart problem is still unknown but we know that he didn't have a heart attack but rather cardiac arrest.
There is a district difference between the two, a heart attack is when a part of the heart is blocked and blood is prevented from reaching a destination causing heart tissue to die but the heart keeps on beating.
During a cardiac arrest, the heart stops entirely and the person is clinically dead and that could be due to electrical problems within the heart or a blockage, nonetheless Bronny James narrowly escaped death and we are all grateful for that.
Regardless of why he had a cardiac arrest what comes next is assessing whether Bronny will be healthy to continue playing basketball at a high level.
There is a significant chance that Bronny may have to stop playing competitive basketball if the cause of his heart problem is because of a congenital condition.
If so then he might have to close the curtains on his basketball career like LaMarcus Aldridge and Chris Bosh had to.
But there could also be another reason as to why he had this scare and that could be due to the Jab everybody took two years ago, that could be a factor in all of this and it is yet to be seen.
But we are glad Bronny James is recovering well.
