As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, "Battlegrounds Mobile India" had been released by Krafton Inc., a South Korean video game developer, as a rebranded version of the popular battle royale game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" (PUBG) Mobile specifically for the Indian market.
The game was developed in response to the ban imposed on PUBG Mobile in India in September 2020 due to concerns over data security and its potential impact on the younger generation.
