The Indian Space Research Organisation or ISRO released a video on August 25 of the moment the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft's rover, Pragyan, ramped down from the Vikram Lander on the lunar south pole.
ISRO took to social media platform X to release the video of the rover.
It will conduct experiments to study the Moon's geology, mineralogy, and atmosphere.
It is equipped with a variety of instruments, including a camera, a spectrometer, and a magnetometer.
The Pragyan rover is expected to operate for one lunar day, which is about 14 Earth days.
It will be powered by solar panels and will communicate with the Chandrayaan-3 orbiter.
