A year into her review of maternity services at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Donna Ockenden has insisted improvement work is happening “in the here and now”.
The healthcare leader said: “We won’t shirk with our findings, we will be open and honest … the learning that needs to happen is happening as we progress our work, it won’t be a very long, lengthy wait for the learning and the change to happen in Nottingham’s maternity services.” Report by Buseld.
