Deputy Superintendent Humayun Bhatt was one of the three Army personnel who were killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag.
On Thursday, the army official was laid to rest.
Bhatt had been serving as a DSP in the Jammu and Kashmir Police for the past three years and had got married just last year.
Several mourners turned up to pay last respects to Bhatt.
His mortal remains were draped in a tricolour.
