US President Joe Biden apparently wouldn’t spare his son if he were convicted on gun charges.
The US White House issued the first response after Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was charged with lying about his drug use when he purchased a handgun in 2018.
Hunter was also charged with illegally possessing the weapon.
According to reports, the White House said Biden wouldn’t pardon Hunter if he were to be convicted on gun charges.
When asked if Biden would commute his son’s sentence if convicted on gun charges, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said no.
