Fears that Larry the Cat is unwell have been put at ease after a government spokesperson said he is “happy and healthy”.
It comes after reports that the 16-year-old chief mouser to the Cabinet Office had been unwell for a while.
Larry was adopted by then-prime minister David Cameron in 2011, and he has served under five PMs. Report by Jonesia.
