North Korea has made a constitutional amendment to its policy on nuclear force.
The move comes as the country's leader Kim Jong Un pledged to accelerate production of nuclear weapons to deter what he called US provocations.
The North's parliament, the Supreme People's Assembly, unanimously adopted the revision of the constitution.
Reports said that the amendment took place at a two-day meeting which ended on Wednesday.
