We've all heard the stories in history class about giant piles of bison carcasses littering the High Plains and lowly bands of starving Indians being finally brought to heel by the US Army as they witnessed the massacre of their once abundant food source.

Sierra is a rancher and PhD botanist from northeast Montana, who does not agree with this premise.
