Frederick Shute is a Geologist, Gemologist, Mineralogist, Crystallographer, Goldsmith, Lapidary, Sculptor and writer.
He was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on January 23,1955, grew up in Europe, and has traveled extensively.
He attended the University of Delaware, the University of Maryland, and Northern Arizona, where he studied Geology and Philosophy.
He has owned 5 jewelry and mineral stores and has imported gems from Sri Lanka, Thailand,Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
He attended the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show for 42 years in a row before Co vid.
He has been involved with diamond mining in South Africa , Namibia, and Angola, and has supervised diamond cutting operations in Antwerp and Manhattan, NY.
One of the focuses of his existence has been the Louvre Museum in Paris that he has visited over 50 times.
He has also often been seen lurking around the Cathedral at Chartres, France.
In 2021, he contracted Hantaviris and was found to have gangrene and sepsis in his vital organs.
On November 29, 2021, he was operated on at Tucson, Arizona in the United States, and miraculously, the toxins were removed from his body.
He continued his healing by eating copious amounts of microgreens, living food, maintaining a strict renal diet, and with the help of a Chinese tea concocted specially for him.
Today, he is healthy and lives with his 5 dogs in the desert wilderness outside of Benson, Arizona.
