Following the arrival of the last batch of the promised 31 Abrams tanks on October 16, these formidable armored vehicles are now ready to be deployed on the Ukrainian battlefield.
The initial shipment of Abrams tanks reached Ukraine in late September, as confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The commitment to provide Abrams tanks to Ukraine was made by the U.S. president in January, prompting Germany to send its Leopard 2 tanks, which Kyiv had already been utilizing for several months.
It is noted that all Ukrainian crews trained on the U.S.-manufactured tanks have returned to Ukraine.
