On Tuesday night November 7th DiBella Entertainment presents the “Heroes On The Hudson” card, an event that will be headlined by former WBO junior-lightweight champion Jamel Herring as he takes on Nick Molina (13-0, 5 KOs) at the Edison Ballroom in New York City, airing live on DAZN.
The “Heroes On The Hudson” is a boxing event to support the veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
Prior to the professional portion of the card, amateur bouts sanctioned by USA Boxing will have five matches featuring a military veteran or NYPD officer.
The main card consists of four world class professional bouts that includes a matchup for the IBF Inter-Continental title between former two-time world champion Miyo Yoshida and Shurretta Metcalf.
The headliner features a former world champion who will either continue his journey with a win, or call it a career if he loses.
A product of Rockville Centre, New York, Jamel Herring made his professional boxing debut back in December 2012 when he defeated Jose M Valderrama by unanimous decision.
Seven years later Herring capitalized on his opportunity, when he beat Masayuki Ito by unanimous decision and won the WBO junior-lightweight title.
