A developing weather system over the Bay of Bengal has prompted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue a warning.
According to IMD, the low-pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea has now transformed into a well-marked low-pressure area.
Forecasters predict that the system is expected to move in a west-northwest direction, gradually intensifying into a Depression over the southeast Bay of Bengal by November 30.
