Labour’s Anneliese Dodds condemned Rishi Sunak over his handling of the Elgin Marbles row.
The prime minister cancelled a one-on-one meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in London, after he spoke out about the marbles – known as the Parthenon Sculptures – which he wants returned to Athens from the British Museum.
The Labour Party chair said Sunak should be putting the country’s “security and economic interests first,” describing the marbles dispute as a “thin-skinned” debacle.
