On July 23, 1998, the R.P.D's elite division, S.T.A.R.S, Bravo team is sent to investigate a series of terrible murders in the Arklay Mountains, Raccoon County.
On the way to the scene, the squadron's helicopter breaks down and is forced to make a landing in the forest.
