Home secretary James Cleverly has visited the Rwandan genocide memorial museum.
Mr Cleverly is in Rwanda to sign a new treaty for the government's asylum plan following the Supreme Court's ruling against the scheme which would send asylum seekers to the African nation.
The asylum plan is at the centre of the government's strategy to cut migration.
Cleverly is due to meet with the country's foreign minister, Vincent Biruta, to sign the agreement.
