Hello and thank you for tuning in again as we sail Altor of Down, a Moody 44 in Iceland.
In this episode we arrive in Husavik on the north coast of Iceland which is renowned for its whale population although we don't see any!
We celebrate Asha's 40th birthday, go on a road trip and visit an incredible secret geothermal spring in a crack of the earth before moving on to Dettifoss waterfall, Godafoss waterfall, Namaskard with its sulphur planes and boiling mud pits and the peaceful Lake Myvatn.
I also manage to crash the drone and have to ask it for forgiveness!
After leaving Husvik we visit the small island of Grimsey which straddles the Arctic circle and spend some time amongst the incredible bird life that thrives on the island.
