Israeli forces are conducting widespread raids in the occupied West Bank, targeting areas like Nur Shams and Jenin refugee camps, suspecting the presence of armed individuals.
However, with the frequency of these daily raids, observers argue there may be additional motives.
In Nur Shams, over a 40-hour operation, more than 400 Palestinians were detained, and field interrogations, a common practice, led to injuries, with the Palestine Red Crescent Society reporting 21 cases, 17 resulting from beatings.
Many believe these raids serve to assert Israeli control in the occupied West Bank.
