Swami Vivekanand, borne in 1863 in Calcutta, Bengal under British regime in India.
He was graduated from University of Calcutta and became a disciple of the great Spiritual personality, Sri Rama Krishna Paramhans in the Kali Temple at Dakshineswar, Calcutta.
He got blessings from his master, Sri Rama Krishna Paramhans and got spirited.
He studied Hindu religious books like Vedas, Puranas, Vedanta, Gita and realised the importance and spirituality in Hinduism.
