In college LadyKMF was selling illustrations to the fashion designers in the hallways at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Following her graduation held at Radio city Music Hall, she went on to be a freelance fashion Illustrator in the city for ten months.
Many knew she was an artist and commissioned me for work.
LadyKMF did many side jobs including portraits, calligraphy, and wedding invitations and even some photo airbrush work.
These were great days until a day came when a lawyer client attempted to seduce and molest her wanting a cut in price and who knows what else.
As a direct result, she closed up shop and that chapter of her life and went on to do full time volunteer work at Covenant House for the next two years, working with homeless street kids.
LadyKMF had done many a varied thing within the Cov directly serving the youth.
The experience was one that changes one for life.
For example: the night she saw a tattoo on the back of a young girl's neck while sitting with her in the chapel shortly after her arrival.
It was 1997.
The vision never left her mind's eye.
