We don't know the path forward.
Something about red skies is the only hint we have.
I think that means either plains, or the far edges of the world at eastern or western points, but honestly it could be anything.
So, with no bluntly spelled out direction, the only thing to do is explore.
There will be raiding of villages and dungeons as we go.
