Lasya Nanditha was the daughter of the late BRS leader G Sayanna.
She entered politics about a decade ago and recently won the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency in the November Assembly polls.
She secured the BRS nomination following her father's demise, who was a five-time MLA from the same constituency.
