Renowned Kuchipudi dancer Amarnath Ghosh was shot dead on Tuesday evening while on a walk in St.
Louis, Missouri.
The Indian government has expressed its deep concern and is actively involved in coordinating with US authorities to investigate the murder.
Ghosh, who was pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Dance at Washington University, was a talented artist and a recipient of a National Scholarship for Kuchipudi.
