Despite the recent narrative that Ukraine plans to launch a new offensive sometime next year when aid supposedly returns, Polish General Pacek has let his comments be known in two articles, one in December 2023 and another in February 2024 just after Avdiivka fell to the Russians.
In these articles, he speaks about the danger of Ukraine joining NATO and how serious the Russians will take this step if it occurs.
Russia, he says has lowered the threshold for nuclear war by including its use if they fear losing the conflict.
But his more interesting comments came about the current frontline situation in Ukraine.
He noted that Russia has been preparing for a massive offensive which he thinks will come in late March or early April 2024.
He also says that Russia's factories are working three shifts and they produce much more than the West at the moment.
Russias has increased their army to 1,150,000 personnel and most notably, some 20,000 mobilised Russian troops have suddenly disappeared from sight suggesting they are being prepared for an offensive.
At minimum, he expects Russia to go for Kharkiv and then swing south taking even Odessa.
Ukraine however, has not built defensive lines as they planned to do this during 2024.
This is very much in line with my recent video "the Ides of March".
