Former President Donald Trump and several of his co-defendants are requesting permission to appeal Judge Scott McAfee’s recent ruling, which failed to dismiss the Georgia election interference case against President Trump outright or to remove disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting the former President.
The motion noted that the Court found that DA Willis’s actions “created an appearance of impropriety and an 'odor of mendacity' that lingers in this case, but it nonetheless refused to dismiss the case or disqualify her.”
