The prime minister has declared a “national endeavour” to secure the future of the UK’s defence and civil nuclear industries.
Speaking on a visit to Barrow-in-Furness, Rishi Sunak said: “Our nuclear deterrent is the underpinning of our security and that’s why it’s so important that we invest in it to keep us safe for the long term.” Report by Jonesia.
