While Sylvano is gathering his soldiers of smile, and Jade is trying to liberate Octagonia, Erik has found himself in some dungeon trapped with a healer slime.
The healer slime is friendly and the two plan their escape.
The dungeon of course is filled with monsters.
The two manage to fight their way out of immediate danger only to find that the dungeon is within a mountain, and they are near the peak.
Hope of escape continues to dwindle as Erik and the healer slime come face to face with one of the Lord of Shadow's Sentinels.
