The Barbary macaque (Macaca sylvanus), also known as the Barbary ape or magot, is a tailless ground-dwelling monkey native to the Atlas Mountains of Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
They are about 24 inches long, with light yellowish brown fur and a bald pale pink face.
Adult males weigh about 14.5 kg, while adult females weigh between 5 and 9 kg.
