They pleaded not guilty to causing Actual Bodily Harm to Donald Burgess a 93 year old dementia patient, with one leg who was wheel chair bound.
They tazered, pepper sprayed and used batons on him, he was then hand cuffed and dragged from his wheel chair to a police cage can and taken to the police station.
He was then transferred to hospital where he remained until his death three weeks later.
Remarkably, the IOPC (independent Office for Police Conduct ) who have over 200 ex police officers working on the investigation teams, stated in their report findings that the assault did not contribute to his death.
