In a recent interview on Face the Nation, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem faced tough questions about her controversial views on dogs.
Noem, who had previously written about shooting her hunting dog to death in a book, was asked about her suggestion that President Joe Biden's dog, Commander, should be killed.
The host pointed out that Noem's comments about dogs had raised concerns about her potential as a vice presidential candidate and asked if she was trying to appear tough and if she still believed she had a shot at being a VP.
Noem responded by bringing up the fact that Biden's dog had allegedly attacked 24 Secret Service people.
She questioned how many people needed to be attacked before a decision was made about the dog's living arrangements at the White House.
Noem keeps digging in, and digging a bigger hole for herself.
