Bettas, fighting fish, or fighting fish (Betta sp.) are freshwater fish whose native habitat is several countries in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
This fish has a unique shape and character and tends to be aggressive in defending its territory.
Among fans, betta fish are generally divided into three groups, namely ornamental betta, complaint betta, and wild betta.
In Indonesia there are native betta, one of which is Betta channoides found in Pampang, East Kalimantan.
