The White House has condemned the loss of life of dozens of civilians as a result of an Israeli airstrike in Rafah at the weekend.
But Washington says it does not believe Israel's offensive in Gaza has violated President Joe Biden's declared 'red-line' for withholding future transfers of weapons to Israel.
