On Sunday, June 2 nd, Israel launched a significant air attack on the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The overnight strikes resulted in multiple fatalities, with Syrian state media confirming the attack led to "several fatalities and some material damage." According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 12 pro-Iranian fighters, both Syrian and foreign nationals, were killed in a powerful explosion in the town of Hayyan, north of Aleppo.
This incident marks the second Israeli airstrike on Syria within a week, following the deadly attack on May 29th.
