Trump, the first US president convicted of criminal charges, is set to be sentenced on July 11, just days before the Republican convention, where he's expected to be nominated for 2024.
Donald Trump called the verdict "rigged" and "disgraceful," telling reporters, "The real verdict is going to be November 5th by the people." An attorney representing Trump has said they would appeal as quickly as possible.
The Biden campaign slammed Trump, saying, "We saw that no one is above the law." Three criminal cases are still pending against Trump.
